Les Arvernes
Situated in the village Lachaux, in
the national park "Parc Naturel Régional du Livradois Forez", you
will find the holiday park "Les Arvernes". Two types of accommodations are
offered on this small scale park: family holiday homes ("Pavillons") for up
to 6 persons and wooden chalets / gites for up to 4 persons.
The region is known for its magnificent scenery and offers many ways to
spend your (active) holiday here. Popular activities are walking, mountain
biking, horse riding, swimming, tennis, mountain climbing, fishing, play
golf, driving quads, canoeing and motor cycle driving to name a
few. In the national park "Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d'Auvergne",
situated at a one hour drive from Lachaux, you can visit the famous
volcanoes of the Auvergne region, go to the summit of the Puy de Dôme
(1465m) and visit the theme park "Vulcania".
